The Confocal and Specialized Microscopy Shared Resource provides advanced microscope systems for multidimensional optical imaging of living and fixed cells and tissues.
We offer four different modes of 3D fluorescence microscopy, in addition to conventional transmitted-light and fluorescence microscopy. Find out about our microscopes.
Our full-time manager and technician provide assistance using the microscopes, training for independent use, and technical support. Trained in cell biology and physics with many years of experience in 3D microscopy, we can help with experimental design, image acquisition, and data interpretation.
Accessories are available for live-cell studies, UV microirradiation, laser capture microdissection, electrophysiology. Software is provided for image analysis, processing, and presentation.
